Based in San Diego, CA., Manfred Muecke is a member of BFFB’s class action litigation group. For over a dozen years, Mr. Muecke has continuously advocated on behalf of a broad and diverse group of plaintiffs and class members in a wide array of complex matters including antitrust, investor & consumer financial fraud, consumer insurance practices, employee wages & benefits, and civil rights. This advocacy has resulted in the successful recovery of hundreds of millions of dollars and injunctive relief on behalf of aggrieved consumers, investors, insurance policyholders, and employees.
Mr. Muecke is admitted to practice in the state of California, all United States District Courts in California, and the United States Court Of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Mr. Muecke has spoken at and continuously actively participates in seminars and panels addressing the practice of class action litigation. He is an active member of the American Association of Justice, Impact Fund, San Diego County Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, California Employment Lawyers Association, and the San Diego Native American Law Association.
Prior to law school, Mr. Muecke worked as an elementary special education school teacher in Long Beach, California as part of the AmeriCorps Teach For America program and is still an active member of the Teach For America alumni corps. Mr. Muecke is also a registered member of the Chemehuevi Indian Tribe located in Havasu Lake, California and has served as the Chairman of the Tribe’s economic development corporation.
