Lisa Hauser’s practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on complex multi-party, document-intensive cases.  She is A-V Preeminent Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and was inducted into Martindale-Hubbell’s Inaugural Edition of the Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers in 2011. She is listed in Best Lawyers in America.

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arizona in 1978 (with high distinction) and her Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona in 1981.

After a combined sixteen years of service as an Assistant Attorney General, Director of the Department of Gaming, Legislative Director and Counsel to the Governor of Arizona she launched a career in private practice in 1998. Ms. Hauser has extensive litigation experience in a variety of subject areas, including land use, constitutional law, and commercial litigation.  She is an experienced appellate advocate, having briefed and argued well over 60 cases in Arizona appellate courts, including several precedent-setting cases involving interpretation of the Arizona Constitution.  She has achieved recognition for her work in the area of zoning and land use litigation and in 2013 was named by Best Lawyers in America as Lawyer of the Year, Litigation – Land Use & Zoning (Phoenix).

Ms. Hauser currently serves as the Arizona Arthritis Foundation’s Advocacy Chair and previously served on its Leadership Board. She has served on the local and national Board of Directors of the University of Arizona Alumnae Association and has served in numerous positions at the local and international level of Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity, Inc.

Ms. Hauser is married to the Hon. Brian R. Hauser (Ret.) and the mother of two adult children.
